Tides Hotel has three excellent venues in the one conference centre for events, functions, seminars, meetings, product launches, trade displays or cocktail parties.

All our Nelson conference venues are air conditioned and soundproofed and breakaway rooms can be arranged also.

BROOK ROOM

Up to 20 people, 5.5 x 6.2 metres

 

The Brook Room is perfect for small meetings, seating 14 people in a boardroom or classroom setting and up to 20 people in our theatre layout.

MAITAI ROOM

Up to 30 people, 5.6 x 8 metres

 

Larger than the Brook Room, the Maitai Room is a 16-person boardroom, 18-person classroom and 20-person theatre.

 

It’s perfect for mid-sized meetings and priced just as affordable as the Brook Room.

MOANA ROOM

Up to 100 people, 14.2 x 5.6 metres

 

A combination of the Brook Room and the Maitai Room put together, the Moana Room is ideal for those larger gatherings.

 

A 36-person boardroom, 50-person classroom and 100-person theatre, it’s great value when you need a little more space.

THE LORENZO ROOM

Up to 12 people, 6 x 6 metres
Located across the road at Delorenzo’s Studio Apartments.

As a meeting destination the Lorenzo Room at nearby DeLorenzo's is not only close to Tides and the city centre, but it also offers discreet privacy and quietness.

​

All the facilities you’ll need are available and catering can be tailored to your requirements.

TIDES BAR AND EATERY

Up to 90 people

An exceptional riverside dining experience, Tides Bar and Eatery can be combined with the Maitai Room or Moana Room to serve up to 170 people.

 

Fresh local ingredients and a quality children's menu compliment views of the Maitai River.
